RECAP: Individual Event 1 — 2021 NOBULL CrossFit Games

The 15th annual CrossFit Games kicked off with the longest swim and paddle in Games history — a 1-mile swim with fins followed by 3 miles of kayaking.

The individual men and women descended upon Lake Monona in one large heat in the hopes of starting the competition with 100 points.

Finland’s Jonne Koski, a former competitive swimmer, has finished in first or second place in every swim event he’s participated in.

Separated by seconds, Tia-Clair Toomey and Kristi Eramo O’Connell have placed first and second, respectively, in all swim events they’ve faced together.

Can Koski, Toomey, and Eramo O’Connell do it again? Watch a recap of Individual Event 1 of the 2021 NOBULL CrossFit Games to find out.
