What began as a small competition to find the fittest teams in the area has now grown into a stepping stone toward qualifying for the CrossFit Games.
The Mid-Atlantic CrossFit Challenge is more than a CrossFit competition for athletes and spectators; it’s an experience, and it couldn’t take place without the support of the staff.
“Every department that we have cares so much about their job,” CEO Luke Espe says. “Everybody has so much passion for all the little things that probably most people don’t notice, and … to me, that’s what continually makes the event excel.”
Event director Wilson Pak echoed the sentiment in a recent Instagram post: “I am in awe of the commitment and collaboration of so many individuals that were part of the MACC this past weekend.”
“I am so proud of the professionalism set by the 12labours community and volunteer staff,” Pak continued. “The passion, attention to detail, hard work, and love of CrossFit did not go unnoticed.” To all those involved, thank you for an experience we won’t forget.
