During Week 5 of this year's Open, it was unclear which man would sit atop the worldwide leaderboard at the end of the five-week competition. Mathew Fraser and Rich Froning were separated by only 5 points before the announcement of the brutal rowing and thruster couplet that would close out the first stage of CrossFit Games competition.
