Cody Anderson Goes Unbroken In Muscle-Up Biathlon (2014)
Former gymnast Cody Anderson debuted at the 2014 CrossFit Games and made a name for himself in Event 7, Muscle-Up Biathlon.
The event consisted of a couplet of 400-meter runs and a descending rep scheme of muscle-ups (18-15-12) with a 200-meter run penalty each time an athlete broke a set.
In Heat 1, the race for the win was between Anderson and four-time Games athlete Lucas Parker, both of whom completed their set of 18 muscle-ups unbroken.
Ultimately, it was Anderson who pulled away with the lead in the second round. He went unbroken in each set of muscle-ups and was the only athlete in the event to do so.
Check out Anderson putting his gymnastics skills to the test and earning his first CrossFit Games event win.
