Can Rich Froning lead CrossFit Mayhem​ to its fifth title?

In this video, Sean Woodland chats with four-time Fittest Man on Earth Rich Froning (2011-2014) about the 2021 Games season. This year, Froning will be competing alongside Chase Hill, Andrea Nisler, and Taylor Williamson, three new members of the CrossFit Mayhem competition team.

Although he was “OK not competing this year,” Froning says, “Here I am again. Might as well do it and do it right.” Froning describes preparing for the competitive season with a new roster and lists communication, playing to people’s strengths, and being selfless as needed characteristics, in addition to being fit, to form a successful team.

During the Open season, Froning enjoys “watching the members (at CrossFit Mayhem) go through it and seeing how fired up they get.” He says, “It’s their one time to compete and show what they worked for all year.”
