THE CROSSFIT GAMES

Team Event 1: Squat, Ski, Climb

Appeal Details: AR-1 CrossFit athlete received a no rep on a rope climb. 

Resolution: Appeal denied. Ruling on the floor stands.

Appeal Details: CrossFit Reignited athlete received a no rep on a rope climb.

Resolution: Appeal granted. Nine seconds was awarded to the team, moving its placing from fifth to third.

Appeal Details: Vittoria CrossFit disputed its finishing position. 

Resolution: Appeal granted. Finish position corrected.

Appeal Details: Raw Iron CrossFit disputed finish position based on livestream.

Resolution: Appeal denied. Chip times were read correctly.

 

Individual Event 3: Firestorm 

Appeal Details: Kyra Milligan thought her bike had a delayed start.

Resolution: Not appealable. The bike was functioning normally.

Appeal Details: Brooke Wells says her burpees were miscounted on each round.

Resolution: Denied. Reps were reviewed and rep count is accurate.

Team Event 4: Inverted Earthworm

Appeal Details: CrossFit 1124 feels leaderboard score is incorrect.

Resolution: Score confirmed. Team will not lose an appeal.

Appeal Details: CrossFit Queretoro feels score is incorrect.

Resolution: Appeal denied. Original score stands.

Appeal Details: Ocean State CrossFit athlete says they did more handstand push-ups than was required. 

Resolution: Appeal denied. Rep counts for the handstand push-ups was correct.

Appeal Details: Rhino CrossFit athlete believes they completed 2 handstand push-ups before the time cap. 

Resolution: Appeal denied. Athlete did not reach lockout before falling. 

 

Individual Event 5: Chad

Appeal Details: Georgia Pryer said she did extra reps. 

Resolution: Appeal granted. Athlete did 1 extra over and back and is credited 14 seconds.

Appeal Details: Seher Kaya said she did 8 additional reps. 

Resolution: Appeal denied. After video review, it was determined the reps were counted correctly on the floor.

Appeal Details: Jayson Hopper said rep count was incorrect. 

Resolution: Appeal granted. One additional rep was performed. He is credited 12 seconds. 

 

Team Event 5: 3 Amigos

Appeal Details: CrossFit Prestanda athletes believe they were held to harsher standards resulting in extra reps completed. 

Resolution: Appeal granted and score adjusted by 5 seconds. 

 

Team Event 6: Fort Worth Shuffle

Appeal Details: Einhorn CrossFit contested a no rep.

Resolution: Appeal denied, judge upheld the standards.

Appeal Details: Torian Mayhem contested finish order. 

Resolution: Appeal granted, leaderboard adjusted.

Team Event 7: Beasts of Burden

Appeal Details: Ocean State CrossFit contested rep count on deadlifts. 

Resolution: Appeal granted. Score adjusted by 8 seconds. 

 

Individual Event 7: Push Pull 2.0

Appeal Details: Saxon Panchik experienced an issue with his sled.

Resolution: Appeal granted and athlete credited 11 seconds.

Appeal Details: Austin Hatfield said he was held to unfair standard on the HSPU. Rope got stuck on sled as well.

Resolution: Both appeals denied. Athlete is responsible for intersection of sleds. Correct standard was upheld on HSPU.

Appeal Details: Patrick Vellner appealed penalty given on first section of sled pull.

Resolution: Appeal granted and athlete credited 12 seconds.

Appeal Details: Calum Clements appealed rep counts on thrusters for both events.

Resolution: Appeal denied. Rep count was accurate.
