In her second CrossFit Games appearance, Allison Weiss became the champion of the 2016 Reebok CrossFit Games Teenage Girls 16-17 Division. One year prior, she took third in the same division—she also won the 2015 Open in her division—after just more than a year of CrossFit. Though she had no prior weightlifting experience, Weiss, a former gymnast, also took fourth in the 2016 CrossFit Liftoff weightlifting competition, hitting a 170-lb. snatch at a body weight of 135 lb. She trains at College Hill CrossFit in Greensboro, North Carolina.
