I am a proud Colombian female CrossFit athlete. I train for life and live to train. I have prioritized CrossFit as number one most important thing in my life - knowing that if I am of sound body, mind and spirit then I am better for those I hold closest to me. I took my first CrossFit class spring of 2013 but my real journey started in 2014 when I made up my mind that an ACL injury was not going to define me. I rejoined CrossFit with personal training while still using crutches to get to the box. My coach and I built my body from the ground up- our first goal was a midline stable push up. When I got that I set my sights on a pull up. This year in the 2019 Open I got my first Muscle up! I hope to be a inspiration and role model for those who have faced similar adversity as me. CrossFit's prescription, aim, scaling, methodology , and implementation will work for anyone who is willing to get out of their own way, turn off the outside noises and say THIS IS MY JOURNEY...THIS IS MY FITNESS!!!
