Discovering CrossFit has made me a better husband and father and allows me to be the healthiest I can be as I embark upon the second half of life. In my 30s & 40s I ran a lot of races and competed in Triathalon while also spending lots of time at Globo-gym doing 3X10 workouts with long rests in between. My wife did all kinds of crazy stuff at the gym - burpees, jumping on boxes, dumbbell thusters - I was somewhat mortified at her "crazy" workout style but when we started hearing about CrossFit we both knew it would be a good fit. I have loved every single workout and find myself challenged and incredibly grateful for the sport. Our love for CrossFit prompted us to partner as box owners and our gym, CrossFit Commence, provides and amazing community of support for all our members. Incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to compete at the CrossFit Games as a Masters athlete in 2018 and 2019!
