I'm a afflilate owner of CrossFit De Maalderij in The Netherlands, wife and mother of 2 boys (aged 17 and 15).. I compete because of the atmosphere the open creates in my box and the crossfit community overall. In the end the score on the scorecard doesn't count. What it gives you personally and the feeling of going through the workouts together with others (each on their own level), motivating and making people proud about themselves is what counts.
