The following athletes provided samples containing banned substances during the Semifinals stage of competition:
- On June 5, 2022, Nasser Alruwayeh provided a sample at the Far East Throwdown that contained metabolites of GW1516. He is appealing this finding.
- On June 5, 2022, Phil Toon provided a sample at the Granite Games that contained metabolites of drostanolone. He has requested a B sample analysis.
- On June 12, 2022, team Q21 member Sabrina Dellagiustina provided a sample at the Copa Sur Semifinal that contained metabolites of oxandrolone.
- On June 12, 2022, team Kingbull CrossFit Paraguay member Ines Alviso provided a sample at the Copa Sur Semifinal that contained metabolites of GW1516. She is awaiting results from the B sample analysis.
