Fee Saghafi: “I’m Hungrier and More Confident”

2019 Games athlete Feeroozeh Saghafi placed seventh at the 2021 Mid-Atlantic CrossFit Challenge after becoming sick just hours before the competition.

In an interview with Sean Woodland, Saghafi talks about her Semifinal experience and how she persevered, earning a spot in the Last-Chance Qualifier.

Saghafi also reflects on her growth as an elite athlete and shares her experience training with perennial Games competitor Scott Panchik.

“He pushes me to limits that I could never do on my own, and having a training partner that does that … is everything,” Saghafi says. “He is the hardest worker. … It’s a testament to who he is as an athlete.”
