I'm a student nutritionist, who investigated the influence of a low carb diet on the performance in CrossFit. The conclusion was clear: a low carb diet influences the performance in a negative way, but has a positive effect on the body composition. More research is needed to make this conclusion. After I've been doing fighting sports for many years, I switched to CrossFit. There are a lot of things that I can't do, because of shoulderproblems, but I want to see what my body is capable to do!
