I am a 27 year old from Central Illinois. I started crossfit as a way to build muscle after I initially lost 130lbs. I started competing after about 3 months, and it ignited a fire. I live for competitions and pushing my body to the max... and then going two steps further. I, also, compete in honor of my cousin, SSGT Jordan B. Emrick, who was KIA in 2010. I compete because I am physically able. I compete to show people it is possible to go from being on your death bed at close to 400lbs to being the fittest you have ever been with just a little hard work, sweat, and many tears.
