I was introduced to crossfit by my basketball coach/ friend at medical school and since then I've been hooked. I moved around a lot as a junior doctor and I always found a CrossFit box wherever I went. Now I’m a doctor in Southampton, happily married and with a beautiful son, and I fit crossfit in as often as I can. I love that I can find a crossfit community wherever I go, and I have made long-lasting friendships with people I met through crossfit. I compete for fun, for the community atmosphere, for the adrenaline and for the prospect of achieving something I couldn't do before.
