Hello, I'm Raven! I am a wife, a mother of 2 wonderful children, one boy and one girl, and a former competitive gymnast of 8 years with 2 additional years coaching. This past year (2016) has been a huge one for me, getting my Level 1 Certification, my license to practice Massage Therapy, and to top it off, my first Regionals appearance (2017). I was introduced to CrossFit in the middle of the 2015 Open, and a dear friend of mine sent me to Buffalo Creek CrossFit August of that year for the start of my journey to being a competitive athlete once again. I like playing in the park with my kids, eating ice cream, and loud Metal music.
August 31st, 2017 I underwent labrum surgery with a bicep tenodesis. My official release date isn't until February 28th, but my shoulder is doing well with lots of therapy and conditioning. I was on the edge on competing this season but last minute decided to do so, so here I am, and here we go!
