As a kid I loved playing almost any sport that I was introduced to, and I have always been a competitive person. When I became a mom all my time was spent doing what I thought would best benefit my family and I let myself go. After gaining a lot of weight and becoming unhappy with my appearance I realized I had to do something. I tried diets, gym memberships and supplements to try and lose weight, but nothing held my interest long enough to stick with any of it. The day I decided to try Crossfit I knew I had finally found something that I was going to be able to stick with because my box was place full of positive energy and friendly competition. Now 2 years later I am still doing it, and I am stronger than I have ever been. Being fit and healthy has kept me happy, and I quickly realized how much better of a mom and wife I can be when I feel good about myself.
