I am the proud owner of Affiliate, CrossFit Wynwood, in Miami FL, established in Sept. 2010. I have owned the Affiliate since Sept. 2017. I'm grateful to be a health-minded, fit, now 69 year old CrossFit athlete, since 2012, and CFL2 Trainer since 2021. I was introduced to CrossFit many years back by my now famous son, Noah Ohlsen--you may have heard of him. Thanks to CrossFit, I am at my college playing weight (D-I Lacrosse) and waist size and frankly am probably stronger now that I lift weights regularly/daily. I compete because I was always a competitive athlete throughout my life and get a new kick from the excitement and adrenaline rush and to test my growth as an athlete. I love the community and camaraderie we all share, particularly in the Open. So rewarding for me as the gym/Affiliate owner to help my member community get and stay fit day in and day out.
