Professionally, I am the Senior Park Planner for the Municipality of Anchorage. I train with CrossFit Anchorage to improve my other athletic endeavors in singlespeed mountain bike racing, backcountry and alpine skiing, and keep my stress at bay. As a former competitive "freeskier", I've endured 10 orthopedic surgeries and most recently traumatic grief from the death of my hero/brother, SFC Liam Nevins. It is because of the support from my CrossFit Anchorage coaches that I have returned to all of my favorite activities. I compete to prove to myself that "I CAN DO IT."
