I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you, I am Frank Lawrence. Below is a brief statement, a mission statement, which attempts to encapsulate who I am, and what I am about: My goal in life (Fitness, Faith, Family, Firm, Finances, Friends, Fun) is to add value, insight, coaching, learning, developing and basic quality to each person, interaction, and encounter of each day that is given to me. o My Product is Service o My Value add is advice and experience o My Competitive Advantage is life experience, network of contacts, education, and general knowledge over a broad spectrum My goal is applied in four (4) aspects in all areas of my life: 1) Reject Passivity: do not be passive in any area of my life 2) Accept Responsibility: own it, I have a responsibility in all seven (7) main areas of my life (do not be Passive about it, and own it) 3) Lead Courageously: in all seven (7) areas of my life, my expectation is to not be Passive, Accept Responsibility and Lead Courageously through whatever situation is presented 4) Expect the Greater Reward: I expect the greater reward from those I encounter. I expect positive outcomes, I expect the best I have an incredible family, wife and two kids. I have a great job, I am part owner and CEO of Little Rock Athletic Centers. I have incredible friends and family. These areas are my greatest accomplishments as a whole. All of these areas are lived through and managed by the mission statement above. The James Michener quote sums it up for me: “The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he’s always doing both.”
