I’m a regular person who played sports and did martial arts when I was younger, leaner and fitter. I competed at a decent level and was (much) better in my mind than on the field. Now on the other side of 40, I’ve challenged myself to learn something new and improve my fitness – enter Crossfit. A combination of ego, testosterone and borderline insanity impair my ability to scale and pace – the two most important skills in CrossFit. I regularly bite off more than I can chew and find the amusing side after a few beers.
