I'm a 36 year old gay trans guy. I started CrossFit in December 2019 in the depths of a battle with major depression, and it has been a major contributing factor in keeping me alive. It has helped me both mentally and physically, and has provided me a way to build the body I've always wanted. I'm a social worker and work as a therapist in Florida and Connecticut. I was a 2021 OutAthlete and I'm now a member of the 2022 OutAthletics Senior Class. I won the 2022 Compete Sports Diversity Molly Lenore Inspirational Athlete Award.
