I'm from Basel, Switzerland, I started CrossFit in March of 2013 with participating in the OPEN, thinking I was quite fit (I wasn't). Also, I had zero weight-lifting knowledge or skills, so that didn't help either ;-) I switched from an "eat-all" to a plant-based diet in early 2015 after seeing multiple documentations and reading a couple of books about veganism. I'm mainly vegan for the animals (ethical) but of course I also like the health benefits and the ecological impact that is quite enormous.
