Aurora McCreary, 32, divorce attorney from Orlando Florida. Less than a year into CrossFit, dislocated shoulder first three months in and still trying to recover without surgery. Lover of all things fitness from triathlons and Ironmans to Obstacle races and rock climbing. Steered away from CrossFit due to shoulder mobility problems but jumped in last year and never looked back. I compete because I work in a stressful environment where I'm constantly having to worry about other's needs and hear negative energy. I make sure that even if I have a 12 hour day, I make it to the gym and do something for me. CrossFit has this image of big tough athletes who grunt and lift heavy things but I've found many of the athletes and coaches are the most positive people I've ever met who constantly push each other and challenge each other no matter their age or lifestyle.
