Alex Vachon is the Pacific Northwest Regional Director working with MetLife Insurance, one of the nation's leading insurance providers, to help employers and brokers design and execute employee benefit strategies which maximize outcomes for everyone. He is the leader of a team of account executives who cover Alaska, Idaho, Hawaii, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. Alex has been a perennial MetLife Leader's Conference qualifier and was the 2016 Northeast Region's “Set the Pace” Account Executive of the Year. He was also a graduate of the inaugural "Learn, Excel, Advance, Develop (LEAD)" 18 month leadership development program in 2019. Alex previously worked at Lincoln Financial Group and Sun Life Financial as an account executive where he was also a Leader's Conference qualifier. Alex has always been passionate about healthy living and has led teams through Spartan Race and Tough Mudder events. He has also been involved in his church where he has led men with a health and fitness ministry. Alex has been a competitive business person since his undergrad college years when he managed a $250k company while attending UNC-Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School and making the Dean's list. Later in life he earned his MBA with honors at the University of Southern Maine while working full time, getting married, having kids, and moving twice over a 5 year period.
