At work, I help develop tests for identifying students who might have a learning disorder. Outside of work, I enjoy exercise (CrossFit and OCR training), playing games, and reading (books and so very much news). I started CrossFit while training for the Tough Mudder -- Central Texas. I'd always lifted and jogged periodically, but I struggled to stay motivated when I didn't have a clear purpose for the training. I found that having a workout partner helped me actually get in the workouts, but his schedule was erratic, so I swung by the box that I'd pass every weekend when out walking the dog. And I've been there ever since.
