As an Anesthesiologist, I see horribly unhealthy patients every day. The worst part about it is that most of what I see is self-inflicted. I swore to myself, for many years, I would never be amongst this group. I have always been in pretty good shape. But CrossFit is a whole other entity. Starting only about 7 months ago, it has been nearly life-changing. For me, it is particularly challenging , being that I just turned 60 years old. I have no business, I know, signing up for The Open, but just the "idea" of competing inspires me to continue. I won't give up until my body tells me I can't go on. Thanks Marcella and Josh for your expert training; and to my fellow CrossFitters for their encouragement and camaraderie at New Species CrossFit.
