I am a Firefighter/Paramedic with Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue in Tuscaloosa, Alabama! No, I am not a Crimson Tide fan (ahem, Geaux LSU!!!) I have worked here for two years. My wife and I just welcomed our first child, a GORGEOUS (to match her mama) baby girl, on January 21, 2013! This will be my first CrossFit Open to compete in. I normally workout at the fire station and at home. I usually do not have time to make it to a gym with secondary jobs and now a newborn to care for. I expect this to be an eye-opener for me to see the areas that will need drastic improvement by next year!
