I was born in 1979 in Hamburg, Germany. I grew up in different places in the north of Germany and left the country in 2005 to live in England, Ireland and currently the Isle of Man. I found my dream company in my dream business: PokerStars! Through my love for poker I also found CrossFit as a lot of professional poker players try to keep fit in between long sessions of sitting at the poker table. They tweeted a lot about CrossFit ans so I decided to check out what it's all about. I joined the Isle of Man box in November 2012. My sports and health background is quite tricky. I always tried to be active but my health usually was in the way to succeed at anything or keep going as a matter of fact. I am suffering from asthma, arthritis, different allergies and also Multiple Sclerosis. None of these things affect me much, but enough that I always found excuses in the past. I decided that those times are over now and I will try to work as hard as I can to become as fit as I can and so beat the symptoms of the above health issues! 3...2...1...Go! ;)
