Im a Dental Hygienist born and raised in Miami. Always active in sports, cheerleading and dance at an early age, but studies and profession became a priority and genetics and eating habits were always good. As I grew older, I used to do "X" videos at home as a way to keep in shape but got bored and distracted very easily until A friend told me about Crossfit 7 or 8 years ago to keep my body in shape, as I realized age was catching up to my body. I can say I am not a competitor at all, this is the First time in all these years I have signed up for the open because it has always been very intimidating and stressful especially that I still cannot perform some of the trademark movements but I did sign up because my "BOX" Peak 360 is such an amazing place to workout in as are the Coaches and all the Members and drop-ins that go there... (i am a transplant from another box). But I have been here a little over a year and my progress as well as confidence and friendships are beyond what a competition stands for. I look forward to having fun at my age doing my first open, and thats why I really signed up!!!
