The 2024 CrossFit Open officially begins today!
The Open will kick off with the live announcement of Open Workout 24.1, presented by Momentous, live from CrossFit Pleasanton in Pleasanton, California.
Tune in to the CrossFit Games website or the CrossFit Games YouTube channel to watch the live show starting at 11 a.m. PT. Open Workout 24.1 will be announced at 12 p.m. PT.
Don’t Miss the Athlete Throwdown
During the first week, notable CrossFit Games athletes Brent Fikowski, Alex Gazan, Alexis Raptis, and Jeff Adler will complete three workouts in a throwdown-style competition for a chance to win the Rogue Fitness Golden Barbell.
CrossFit 580 hosted Workout 1 yesterday. CrossFit Pleasanton will host Workout 2 and the final workout — Open Workout 24.1 — during the live announcement.
You can watch highlights of the first workout during the live show today. A full video will be released after the workout. Live coverage of Workout 2 and Open Workout 24.1 will be available starting at 11 a.m. PT.
At 2 p.m. PT, head over to the WheelWOD YouTube channel to watch Seated athlete Brandon Mantz, Neuro Minor athlete Josh Robinson, and Short Stature athlete Erin Popovich face off live at CrossFit WatchTower in Colorado!
