12 Athletes Tested for Banned Substances

The CrossFit Games Anti-Doping Program conducted another series of out-of-competition tests for the 2022 season.

Multiple athletes were tested to include Brent Fikowski, Jonne Koski, Guilherme Malheiros, Alex Vigneault, Lazar Đukić, Noah Ohlsen, Gabriela Migała, Mallory O'Brien, Kristi Eramo O'Connell, Amanda Barnhart, and Joey Coste.

The samples were collected by Doping Control Officers from Drug Free Sport International in March and April 2022 and analyzed at the UCLA Olympic Analytical Laboratory.

The UCLA Lab screened the samples for the full WADA Out-of-Competition Testing Panel of banned substances.

Joey Coste tested positive for a prohibited substance and is appealing. All of the other athlete samples were negative
