2018 Standard for Hand Protection

In general, gear is allowed that improves safety and/or comfort, but does not confer an advantage.

Athletes may wrap tape around the pull-up bar OR wear hand protection (gymnastics-style grips, gloves, etc.), but they may not tape the bar AND wear hand protection.

Remember to review movement standards and workout descriptions carefully before attempting Open workouts.
