The CrossFit Games are the world’s premier test to find the Fittest on Earth.
In order to find the fittest, CrossFit has to cast a wide net. The three-stage CrossFit Games season acts as a funnel, starting with the all-inclusive online Open, advancing to the selective live regionals, and concluding with an elite few on a world stage at the CrossFit Games.
The 2016 Reebok CrossFit Games South Regional features the fittest men, women, and teams from the South West and South Central United States, as well as all of Latin America. 68,000 athletes from these three regions entered the Open, but only the top-50 men, 50 women, and 40 6-person teams were invited to compete at the South Regional (May 13 - 15).
Over the course of the three-day weekend, the athletes will face a barrage of tests designed to reveal any flaws in their fitness. Can they do well in long events? Short events? Heavy lifting? Gymnastics? To make it to the Games, these athletes must be true generalists capable of handling any task thrown at them.
The five men, five women, and five teams who do the best in relation to their peers across all of the events will be invited to compete at the CrossFit Games held at the StubHub Center in Carson, California July 19-24.
The South Regional will be held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.
Regional tickets cost $75 for three days of access, or $30 per day.
Kids 12 and under are admitted free of charge with a ticketed adult.
Each affiliate owner (Licensee of Record) will receive a complimentary three-day ticket to their local regional. These complimentary tickets will be available at Will Call under the name of the LOR. The LOR can pick up their free ticket by stating their name and showing ID.

Dallas Love Field is a short seven miles from the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. In about 30 minutes, travelers from D/FW can arrive at the facility. And Dallas Executive is only 10 minutes and one traffic light away!
To arrange air travel to either of these airports, select the appropriate airport code from your airline’s booking website.
The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center is located at 650 S. Griffin Street in Dallas, TX 75201.
There is currently highway construction underway to improve connectivity and traffic flow into Downtown Dallas. For details including detours and lane closures go to Dallas Horseshoe Project. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2017.
Car, truck, and trailer parking at the convention center is easy. The garage and three surface parking lots (Lots C, D, and E) can accommodate almost any vehicle; however, the convention center does not offer overnight parking or utility connections for campers and RVs. Parking is $15 per entry.
