I'm an ear nose and throat surgeon in Houma/Thibodaux Louisiana. I have a very blessed and fortunate life. I love God, my wife, my family, my dog, my friends, and my job. I'm pretty good at crossfit. Proverbs 3 pretty much sums it up for me.
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
No one will ever convince me that milk is bad for you. Cavemen only lived to be in their 30s. Peanut butter and carbs are delicious. Red wine.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
Matt Bruce and Mike Cazayoux with Bruce Barbell write my programming. Their program is amazing and am honored to be a part of it as an athlete and to help out with the gymnastics programming.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I regularly play recreational sports
I was a competitive gymnast until age 17 then i coached through the rest of high school and college. I got really out of shape for a while in med school then discovered crossfit in residency.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I train other people
I love coaching. I help out as much as i can at my affiliate Power Crossfit and am getting involved as a gymnastics consultant with Bruce Barbell.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
... depends on work.
