How I Eat
I try to stick to paleo but because of work, sometimes I just need calories! No booze or grains though.
How I Train
I am blessed with some amazing coaches from both CrossFit Advantage and Tacoma Strength! I have been following Outlaw programming for about five months and it has helped tremendously.
My Athletic Background
I grew up in a very active household - we were always hiking, stacking wood, rock climbing or riding horses in the Olympic Mountains. In high school I dabbled with a few sports including cheerleading (Yes, cheerleading is a sport) but I was never serious about fitness until CrossFit. Now, I am addicted.
My Experience With CrossFit
I had my first taste of CrossFit at the YMCA, when a friend would give me WOD's to do on my own. Of course I was not satisfied with self-torture so I signed up at Gig Harbor CrossFit and I've been hooked ever since. I coached for a couple of years and hope to return to coaching someday.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I squeeze in two-a-days when I can and rest when I'm tired.
