- 33 years old. - Former football player. - I train out of Reebok CrossFit Ramsay in Calgary. - I train in classes and add volume as needed. - Had my second ACL surgery on my left knee in March 2015. - Love to compete with the amazing athletes out there.
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week
I eat pretty clean but have no problem shaking it up from time to time. My nutrition is based on fuelling workouts rather than body composition.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I record my workouts
I do the class programming that has been designed as a competitive program, but one that is scalable for all athletes.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
Played soccer and football as a young child and teenager. I briefly played football in University but that was derailed when I tore my ACL the first time.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
Found CrossFit when I was personal training after finishing school. I tried a random workout found on the internet and it destroyed me. I thought I was fit until that moment. I was hooked.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I strictly schedule my rest days
Normally train 5 days/week, sometimes 6.
