I work part time as a registered nurse in the surgical services department at a hospital. My main passion is being apart of the CrossFit community and training hard. I have been fortunate to make it to the 2011 mid-atlantic regionals as team member, 2012 mid-atlantic regionals as an individual, 2013 3rd place finish mid-atlantic regionals as member of CrossFit Wilmington team, 2013 6th place individual masters finish at the CrossFit Games, 2014 Going to the CrossFit Games!

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I am big on nutrition and eating right. I eat a combo diet of paleo and zone. My cheats to stay sane are sweet potato chips and very dark chocolate. Then, occasionally I will eat some ice cream when my weight dips a little from extra volume training. Supplements I take come from Competitive Edge Performance.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I have a coach who determines my programming

I record my workouts

I train at the fantastic Crossfit Brevard with programming from Rudy/Outlaw. The past few years my programming came from CrossFit Wilmington. Thanks to all who have helped me over the years.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I just love to play!! Crossfit is my favorite hobby!

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

Crossfit keeps me young at heart! I have accomplished things I never thought possible.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

I absolutely love to train and train hard. More importantly I have learned how important rest is the older I get. Finding a good balance is key.

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

2-4 years

Yee haa..... it has been one of my most favorite things I have done or competed at in my lifetime.
