I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

I train other people

I had a life changing moment last summer at a Crossfit Competition in Atlanta, GA. While doing a head to head wod against Regional Competitor Brian Prochaska, i slipped off of rings while doing toes thru rings in the workout and fell from 7 ft up on my head on a concrete floor. I was rushed to the hospital to find out that I had suffered multiple skull fractures and had some internal bleeding. I was then air lifted to Northside hospital where Neurosurgeons were standing by waiting for my arrival to start brain surgery. Well, the Lord had other plans...when i arrived the bleeding had miraculously stopped and i was able to forgo the surgery , but i did have 10 day stay in the hospital 4 hrs from home in Dothan, AL. The doctors expected loss of memory, speech impediment and long term effects from the brain injury, also told me that i should never do Crossfit again and if i was a football player that I definitely wouldnt ever play again. Well, once again God had other plans! I was told by doctors not to do anything for 3 months and I was back training within 2 months. All this being said, i'm back stronger than i ever was before my injury with no complications! I love Crossfit and can now share how the Lord took my life and my body and restored it and renewed my strength. Jeremiah 30:17
