How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I try to maintain a good healthy diet but Im not too strict about it.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I mix up my training between working out at CrossFit Active in Waverton. I work in the City and I normally cycle to Waverton of a morning, do my crossfit session, then ride on to work (about a 12km cycle in total). Then obvisouly I have to ride home so usually about 24 kms per day. I get about 4 sessions per week but I try to do as many as possible.
My Athletic Background
I played college sports
I'm a swimmer and water polo player who is relatively new to CrossFit. I used to play a fair bit of Rugby and sprint atheltics as a kid. I have done a couple of triathlons and cycle quite a bit. I'm a bit overweight but it is quickly dropping off with the Crossfit work.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I tried CrossFit a few years ago through a good mate Rob Downton (CrossFit Norwest) but it was just too hard to get to the sessions from home (lane cove). I decided late last year to give it another go and Im loving it!
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
Mon AM Cycle to Gym - WOD ; PM - Cycle Home Tues AM Cycle to Work ; PM Cycle Home Wed AM Cycle to Gym - WOD ; PM - Cycle Home Thurs AM Cycle to Gym - WOD ; PM - Cycle Home Fri AM Cycle to Gym - WOD ; PM - Cycle Home Sat AM WOD Sun rest I will usually also have 1 forced rest day during the week due to work travel.
