ATHLETE INFORMATION

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

Unprocessed foods 90% of the time. Meat/poultry/fish/eggs, vegetables/berries/fruit, nuts/oils. Relaxed enough to allow occasional deviations from this. Very limited alcohol. Glucose/protein/creatine/BCAAs post training. Increased carbohydrates in the meal before training.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I write my own programming

I record my workouts

Follow www.myfitnessfile.com programming at Range of Motion.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I played college sports

Background in swimming and water polo at a National Level.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I have attended one or more specialty courses

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

I train other people

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

Intuitive rather than scheduled with my work/rest schedule. Have become better at weighing up the risk vs reward of training to maximise the amount of volume and intensity without overtraining.

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

4+ years

Began CrossFit style training in 2007.
