My background is gymnastics. I ate, breathed and lived gymnastics from the age of 10 after first discovering it on TV watching my idol, Olga Korbut at the '72 Olympics, completely mesmerized. I became addicted and still am! I landed a dream job of a gymnastics coaching position at the early age of 18 where I grew up learning it. I realized then that coaching was what I was born to do. I discovered CrossFit in 2007 after 10 years of traditional bodybuilding programming, which became unbearably boring. It was as if CrossFit was custom made for me! My passion for gymnastics and strength was reserected! What followed to present day has been life changing. I became a coach, owned my own box for 5 years and came in 6th at the 2011 Games Masters division, 45-50. CrossFit has given me an amazing life with teaching myself and my loved ones to never stop trying to reach our potential! Most of all, I am so very thankful for all the wonderful friendships CrossFit has given me.
