I have been a full-time Personal Trainer since 2006 and a L1 CrossFit coach since 2009. I played sports my entire life and started CrossFitting shortly before getting my Level 1. I taught myself how to Crossfit with the help of weekend certifications and the main site/journal. I had never belonged to an Affiliate until I opened my own with my fiance in 2012, CrossFit Syracuse. I am hoping that the 2014 Northeast Regional, my 6th, will be my best showing yet. With the support of my friends and family, my gym, and my coach (Michael FitGerald), I am sure it will be the most exciting.

I eat strict Paleo

I spent the first three years of my CrossFit experience totally on my own, training out of the various health clubs I worked at. I had various remote coaches help me program or program for me but never for very long until I hired Michael FitzGerald. I began working with Michael immediately after the 2012 NE Regional and my progress this year has been dramatic.
My Athletic Background

Middle School was Hockey, Lacrosse, Basketball and Football. High School was Football, Wrestling and Lacrosse and college was Football. For the rest of my life it will be CrossFit.

I started CrossFitting alone and learned how to perform the movements through videos on the Journal, other videos on the web, and the coaching I received during various certifications from CrossFit to USAW. Today I am the co-owner and head coach at CrossFit Syracuse. My days are filled with 1on1 clients ranging from 14 to 96 years old, group classes (I love my members), my own training and lots of mopping. My fiance and I are blessed to have found CrossFit and our community...thanks guys.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I strictly schedule my rest days
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I train 5 days a week. My coach, Michael FitzGerald, is my secret weapon. The guy has elevated my game in a way I thought impossible.
