Bio

I'm the current Icelandic champion in olympic weightlifting, both overall and in the -63kg weight class. I have total 6 Icelandic records in weightlifting, 3 in -58kg weight class and 3 in -63kg weight class. I was chosen the female weightlifter of the year in 2012 and 2013. I was the first Icelandic female to represent Iceland at the European championship in weightlifting that took place on the 8th of april 2014. I competed as an individual at the European regionals in 2012 and with my team in 2013. My team made it all the way to the Crossfit Games last year. I'm proud to say that I'm also a mother of a 4 year old girl and a PhD student in Engineering at the University of Iceland where I also teach System dynamics. I also have Level 1 CF certificate and I do coach a little at my box. I'm lucky to be sponsored by the best, Sci-Mx, Glo, Casall and Zensah. How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I feel best when I eat RAW vegetables. The fact that I live in Iceland makes strict RAW food diet harder then it would be in many other countries. Therefore I just try to make RAW vegetables a big portion of my overall diet:) To get more protein into my diet I eat quality vegan protein called PRO-VX from Sci-MX.
