How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I mostly workout at Brick CrossFit in West Hollywood, but also train at my fire station as well as bike, hike and run on my own.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
I regularly play recreational sports
I played high school football and soccer, college lacrosse and have played soccer for most of my life. I currently run, do the occasional sprint triathlon and play coed kickball.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have been doing CrossFit for 2 years now and really enjoy doing local competitions as well as the annual CrossFit Open. I have a great box in West Hollywood with great coaches and lots of great friends that push and motivate me every day. Brick CrossFit is in my opinion the best box in the Los Angeles area.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I usually ride my bike to CrossFit at Brick, then hike after class, then ride home. Just started Kickboxing, a challenge, but fun too.
