Bio

A mama of three kids under 4 years old. Played sports all my life, competed in amateur kickboxing at a national level. I own an active release therapy clinic, along with my personal training certification in several different specialties, including nutrition and high intensity training. My husband and I opened a family fitness facility in Sherwood Park in 2014 for people to be able to train hard while still spending time together with their families. Little Sweatshop is a complete dream that allows me to continue training, be a full time mama and help other people moving towards their dreams as well.

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week

I try to get enough calories in me.....with my three babies, it's hard to remember to eat enough! So I incorporate a LOT of raw fats and protein in my diet. But honestly, I have a soft spot for Mini Eggs, Pasta Pantry and lactose free lattes. I really don't believe in the Paleo way of eating because I know for a fact that Cavemen would have eaten ANYTHING.....not just the paleo friendly foods....survival is survival!

How I Train

Owning a gym and maintaining my own program is important to me. I am mentored by the top weightlifting coaches in the province at Fox's Den Weightlifting Club. My main focus is endurance and fitness, with the underlying addition of strength training and gymnastics skills.
