How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
Try to stay paleo-zone, but it's difficult to be super strict and measure everything with baby and hubby wanting something else.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I write my own programming
I have been a fully committed commuter cyclist and runner for 17 years. Even while raising my daughter. Commuting is fun, but it has been so much fun learning about Crossfit.
My Athletic Background
I played college sports
Gotta love sand volleyball and track and field! I still have my javelin. I wish we had better sand courts in grand junction.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
A second chance to compete and learn new skills while raising a family. Crossfit has been flexible with a busy schedule.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I strictly schedule my rest days
It's difficult to schedule rest while being a commuter cyclist. Getting anywhere involves raising my heart rate. However at the end of the day and couple of days a week include yoga and some serious sloth-ism.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I hope Crossfit is around for the next 60 years!
