Over the last three years I have been a part of the Crossfit community and it has changed my life. Being a part of the Crossfit community has given me lifelong friendships with men and women of all ages. Not only does it bring together like minded people, but everyone is so positive and uplifting. Surrounding myself with people who inspire others is what motivates me to keep coming back. Although, friendships and positive vibes are important, so is feeling good about yourself. Crossfit has given me the confidence and strength to feel comfortable in my own skin. I have always been athletic growing up by doing gymnastics, but I always felt my body looked different than the other girls. I hated how big my biceps and quads looked, but once I joined Crossfit my self-confidence improved because being strong and powerful is desired there. Now I’m proud to be able to lift 175 pounds over my head and knock out 50 pull ups. I’m in the best shape of my life and I wouldn’t be where I’m at today without Crossfit.
