How I Eat
I eat healthy, but really whatever I want. No reason to deprive myself, it only backfires. However, via health and athletic challenges organized by my box Tamalpais CrossFit, I have incorporated aspects of the Paleo diet - we have some amazing chef-athletes at TCF. Additionally, I have finally learned and embraced the importance of fueling my body pre and post WOD. Thanks to our very educated coaches, I always have a healthy (balanced) snack or shake on hand to optimize my body and workout!

My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week
I typically rest fewer than 4 days per month
I have learned to really listen to what my body needs, and if its rest, I rest. If its some extra cardio or tabata abs, bring it on!!!!
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I started Tamalpais CrossFit December 3, 2010 and celebrated my One Year Anniversary doing Fran! Even better, it was Fran for Families, a fundraiser put on by my box.
