Crossfit has been an awesome addition to my life. It has showed me that with hard work and determination you can accomplish things you never thought possible. I never participated in athletics growing up nor did I come from an athletic background. I started my journey towards fitness at age 34 and after trying other workout regimines none seem to offer what Crossfit has given me. Continuous improvement and the community of friends (family) are just some of the benifits. Fitness to me means Crossfit, it is not just a program to follow for me but so much more it is a lifestyle one which I believe leads to total fitness.
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I follow the zone/paleo nutrition plan 95/05.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I record my workouts
I mostly train crossfit at my affiliate but when i cant make it there I take my crossfit workout to the garage or the globo-gym.
My Athletic Background
I have no athletic background besides CrossFit
I did not start my road to fitness untill I was age 34 (currently 38) and have been doing Crossfit for the last year and will continue crossfit from here on out. no other athletic backgound.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I found Crossfit after becoming interested in olympic weightlifting. As soon as I became aware there was a local affiliate I had to try it...I have been doing Crossfit ever since.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I typically follow a 3on1 off schedule (when time and my work schedule allow)
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I will be involved with Crossfit 2 years this March.
